How to get to PACIFICO CONVENTION CENTER
The venue is a world-class exhibition centre in Yokohama, built in the ocean facing corner of beautiful culture section, Minato Mirai, which is 1.5 km east of Yokohama station (10 min. by taxi).
Yokohama station is served by four railway companies, Japan Railways (JR), Tokyu Railway, Keikyu Railway and Sagami Railway (Sotetsu). In addition, subway lines and local bus network meet there. They are operated every 5-15 min. The nearest station to Pacifico is Minato Mirai station of Tokyu Railway (two stops from Yokohama).
From the airports (Narita and Haneda), there are direct limousine bus service bound to Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel (Pacifico Yokohama at Minato Mirai) for 800 JY from Haneda and 3600 JY from Narita airports at every 30 min to 50 min. Haneda is closer to Yokohama.
For people who use Shinkansen (Super high speed train), Shin-Yokohama ("New Yokohama") Station is more convenient access. Shin-Yokohama Station is located outside of the city center, about ten minutes by JR train from Yokohama Station. The station has a joint with the municipal subway, which goes to Sakuragi-cho station close to Pacifico Yokohama. From Sakuragi-cho to Pacifico takes 20 min by walking. How to get from Tokyo to Yokohama
Tokyu Toyoko Line
About 25 minutes and 270 yen from Shibuya Station
The Toyoko Line is the cheapest way to get from Tokyo and Yokohama. Make sure to board a limited express or express train, as they are much faster than local trains, but cost the same. From Yokohama Station, trains continue to run on the Minato Mirai Line to Motomachi-Chukagai.
JR Tokaido Shinkansen
About 15 minutes from Tokyo Station to Shin-Yokohama
All trains along the Tokaido Shinkansen stop at Shin-Yokohama Station. Shin-Yokohama is about 10-15 train minutes from Yokohama Station and Yokohama's city center by the JR Yokohama Line or subway.
JR Keihin-Tohoku Line
About 40 minutes and 470 yen from Tokyo Station
About 30 minutes and 290 yen from Shinagawa Station
The Keihin-Tohoku Line is a slower, local connection between Tokyo and Yokohama. South of Yokohama Station, the line is known as Negishi Line and provides access to several sights in central and southern Yokohama.
